Where to put it
Along a fence line, at the edge of a driveway, or in a side yard all work well for most backyard setups. Look for firm, level ground our truck can reach without crossing landscaping or a septic field, keep it a reasonable distance from the food and seating area, and think about how it looks from the main gathering space so it does not become the centerpiece of the yard by accident.
If your yard has a slope or soft ground from recent rain, mention that when you book. We can usually still place a unit, but it helps us plan the right spot and bring what we need to set it level.
How many for a backyard party
One unit handles most backyard gatherings comfortably, especially anything under a few hours with a normal mix of food and drinks. Two or three units make more sense for large open houses, reunions, or parties running most of the day, particularly once alcohol is part of the event, since that pushes usage up the same way it does at any larger event. Adding a hand washing station is a nice touch when food is served outdoors, and it is an easy add to the same order.
What to expect on the day
We deliver, place, and level the unit ahead of your party and pick it back up once you are done, so there is nothing for you to manage beyond picking the spot. If you want a party rental for a full weekend rather than a single day, that is easy to arrange too, and it often makes sense if setup and cleanup bookend the actual event.
